There is no Spark 2. The replacement is the Mavic mini. Probably hear more about it in the next few weeks or longer. Leaked prototype photos on YouTube.

I was the OP on this. I have reliable information that the Spark is indeed out of production. However, I don't know if this is permanent or not but am told it is. I have had my Spark since shortly after it was released. Since it may be being fazed out I just bought a new one. Just delivered...

Really, any Android phone or tablet will work. I have a new 10+ and a galaxy tab S4 no problems at all so I'm sure your tab A will be fine

Anything can be improved. The Spark has many areas that could definitely be improved. There certainly is some reason they are not being restocked. I realize that if most of the things people miss on the Spark were added then you have the Mavic Air. But the Spark is meant as an entry level drone...

I expect we will hear about a replacement for the Spark in the near future. Just like the Phantom 4 is now out of production. Phantom 5 coming soon.

Just wondering if Dji is going to discontinue the Spark in the near future. Asking this because(except for few third party sellers) You can only find the white version. Even in the Dji store. Just curious.

Just turn off GPS and fly. Everyone that owns a drone should be able to fly that way. If you can't you have no business flying at all....
