Just tested with Huawei P10 lite. OTG video feed is working perfect, but important telemetry data is missing (nr. of satelites, signal strenght bars, battery). With WIFI everything works.

Why would something be updated if it works ok for majority? Besides that, this app was modded and optimized by a group of people who probably weren't payed for that. So we can be happy that it is available and that it works for many people who installed it and using it.

OK than this is not the case. As said, I'm just curious about why I can't see channel bars. Since you are obviously flying in CE mode and CAN see them, it still could be because of fake gps trick to enable FCC mode I used on official app.

I've done that. Before 1st flight. Not exactly with the same fake GPS app. Everything works flawless, including RTH. I just can't see channel bars. I fly with official app here and there only. I mostly fly with dedicated Android, where I have MOD2 and LITE apps, I'm using OTG. I can't notice any...

Maybe bars are seen only when app device is connected directly to spark?

In my case, that could be due to forcing FCC mode. App prompts me to reset WiFi settings ''since I fly in another country''. Which I allways cancel. :D

I have exactly the same expiriences - with original official 4.2.6 app and both hacked apps, MOD2 and LITE. But the range is flawless up to little above 1000m (did not push further) as I don't feel a need to go that far. I'm still curious though why I can't see those bars.

Is there anything like that on the market? I don't mean RC aircrafts which has max. 300m (app. 1000 feet) range no matter where you fly / buy it. As much as I know, all DJI drones (at least Spark, Mavic pro, Mavic Air, Phantom 4,... I'm not sure for Inspire) has less range in EU than in USA. My...

If we knew exact location and position of both antennas in the Spark, we could anticipate why it acts as it is and what to do to make optimum antenna orientation. I've been watching tear down videos and pictures, but I couldn't find this information anywhere. I'd say that it probably is...

I would just suggest you to ''Cancel'' notification ''You are flying in another country / region. Do you want to reset WiFi settings?'' If you want reliable connection of course. If you want 150m range, than select OK.;) Especially in France. WiFi transmitting power is even more restricted there...

If EERYBODY would allways stick to the rules, that would be a wonderfull world. But that was NEVER the case and it probably never will be (unfurtunatelly). So gain some knowledge what and how your Spark works and use common sense.

That's remote controler WiFi password. Spark itself (as an aircraft) has unique WIFi password.
