I’m guessing... Do the fpv glasses work similar to a head-up display? ie. The glasses give a view of the monitor, that is see-through.

I may have missed the bus. There is a shop called Dronezilla in the Sydney suburb of Lindfield. I have only purchased a few bits and pieces there, but I noticed that they repair dji products themselves. Just in case you have had enough of trying to deal with dji.

If the regulations are the same as Australia then GC is all national park, you can apply for a permit to fly in a national park, but you will need to choose a secluded area & dates, write an application, then hope for approval.

The trouble is this company isn’t moaning, they’re using BS to convince people to buy their products. The sales strategy is not new. Convince people that they have a problem (that doesn’t exist), then sell the solution.

Temporary NFZ can turn up sometimes. It can be bushfires, control burns, or an aviation event. Aviation events includes air shows, military exercises, or a special RC club event. It is helpful to get an extra app that shows the NFZs with more details.

I’m glad to see that there are some long time RC plane fliers enjoying this branch of the hobby. I see a lot of stories about the negative attitude towards dji products/pilots from the fixed wing establishment. I’m 55, enjoy flying my spark, own a never flown RC plane

The “Drones are Evil” post is more about how Dedrone is portraying drones, to sell their products! Drones are saving lives, but Dedrone is not going to mention that. They want the public to be scared of drones & spend thousands of dollars to keep drones away.
