I may just go back to my Ipad Mini 4. I use wifi to connect my CS to my Iphone's Hot Spot while flying my Spark to stay connected to Google Maps. Can't have 2 wifi connections and like I mentioned, I don't want to remove the DJI Quick Disconnect just to fly my Spark each time.

Go into the app and put the Spark in tripod mode while flying indoors. It will reduce greatly the stick commands, making it easier to navigate indoors while still giving you experience in flying your Spark. Also, prop guards.

I connect my tablet to my Iphone's hotspot so the wifi is on but not connected to the RC. Haven't had any issues flying my Spark with that setup. I do turnoff bluetooth on both my phone and tablet.
