I've had the same legs on my spark with non slip rubber attached to them for over 18 months and have never had the drone flip over when landing on my home made painted landing pad. I think your fears are unfounded.

Set the drone to tripod mode. It slows down all actions giving much smoother video. No jerky motions.

I live in Geraldton West Australia and had my spark 2 kilometers away before it reached maximum flight distance. It then returned to the home point with no loss of transmission or video quality. I am using a Samsung 7edge with otg cable and dji4 4.1.16 app. Works great.

There's a setting in the menu that allows you to slow down the gimble speed

I have the same issue. Since the last go4 update any photos taken with my spark don't load on my phone. They do however still load onto the some card in the drone. You may find your photos on your som card also. Hope this helps

I've found if the spark turns upside down either accidentally or deliberately and you're videoing the video file will be corrupted.

If you fly lower than the recorded home point your height reading should be in the negative reading
