Ok, so she went out of control somehow... like the other posts indicate. Took me a while to think and run out of camera range. I was afraid if I went to get the controller (by some trees) it would orbit and clip the trees.

Similar thing happened. Using gesture mode only, the Spark started to orbit. It did continuously until I figured to get out of its tracking quickly and it stopped. Then I grabbed my RC, turned it on and took control. I will not use gesture mode only any more.

It does! The gimbal "sway" or whatever it's called is distracting compared to Mavic, but with a little "help" it's alleviated.

I've gone wrap crazy after doing the Mavic. I've wrapped up the XBOX One S, PS4, PSVR, DJI Googles, Apple AirPods, and now the Spark... just so much fun! Now the Spark is even less intimidating.

Yeah, but we do have to agree the Spark is quite pricy when you go for the Fly More bundle ... which is needed for that RC.

Ah, that's it? It's wifi? If so I'm definitely spoiled with the freedom of the Mavic :) I'll have to rethink my use case for keeping the Spark then.

So after the mod, it feels like the Spark's wings have been clipped. The live video range of the Spark just cannot compare to the Mavic -- and I've been rightfully spoiled for it. Increasing the speed and ceiling limit doesn't really help much because you'll fly outside of the live video range...

Gesture mode lack of video and then low res photos are a major disappointment. If it doesn't get Litchi or AutoPilot support soon, it's completely redundant and inferior to the Mavic in all ways except size.

Interesting. I've had some great success with the Mavic. I've been able to go about 30kph on a bike and pull an abrupt U-turn and the Mavic did a smooth pan/turn and continued to track. It was pretty nice to watch, actually.
